  Ambiance is pretty nice, but the restrictions of the heritage building means that they can't fully open up the space.

  The venue is listed in some places as "Casual Dining" - a bit too casual for me in the building that it is in, and the quality too variable for the prices Ryan's was charging.

  Classy, classic hideaway to conduct business - many a senior public servant can be found here. A touch of an old world hotel bar in the centre of Brisbane. Does coffee later than anywhere else in the city

  However, I found the Garlic Prawn Penne a bit bland, and the fish on my daughter's fish and chips had been overcooked, and was dry and hard.

  The koftas and grilled vegetables on the Mezze Share Plate were nice, as was the Seafood Mezze Plate with Prawns, Oysters, and Baby Octopus.
