  Super hungry and disappointed. Just seems super low quality. I think they've moved locations BC I'm 1/2 blk away from where Google says it is.

  Every time that I have been to this restaurant I have eaten well. The service is great as the staff is always friendly and helpful. It is a great atmosphere for dining whether for a short or long meal. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys great Japanese food.

  The food here is quite delicious but the very slow wait for items to be made and the forgetfulness/inflexibility of staff makes this place lose a few stars. Not very crowded for weekday lunches, we got a table on the side very easily (away from the sushi train). We ordered from the menu we were presented with but after a very long wait, the food had not arrived. When we chased it up, the waitress did not remember or have any record of what we ordered and simply placed the order in again. More waiting proceeded. Finally after eating as quickly as we could, we went to the checkout. Some of us had to leave urgently but the waitress wouldn't cater for that and took her time getting the actual plates from our table and calculating them in the order she saw fit. Good food but the service is severely lacking - come here only when you have plenty of time to wait and when you have only maybe 1 other friend so you can sit at the train.

  I've always enjoyed hanaichi for a quick and filling meal. I'm happy that they now do a tofu curry. the rice is always fluffy. they usually have a drink special too if you order a main.
