  Had to get new buttons on a pair of suit pants and i had a rip in my jacket that needed to be stiched. After picking up my clothes, I got home to find the back pocket buttons had not been replaced, those i had paid for. The jacket still had the holding pin in it and the work had not been completed.

  Have done business with this place for years. I also own a small business in the Myer Centre and I have on many occasions over the past four years done free jobs for their staff members and have recommended their business when I do not have the parts required for my customers. I am not using my business profile to post this comment as I believe that would be totally unprofessional, which by the way is exactly how Looksmart has acted in this instance. Very disappointed

  I took my Brioni business shirt for a run of the mill alteration (take in sides from existing darts) thinking that they'd take good care of it as the fabric is quite delicate. They charged me $50 to take it in from existing darts, which was quite excessive, but I thought if they were charging me master tailor prices, the quality of work must be warranted. I couldn't have been more wrong. Not only was the finish quite amateur, they also poked two large holes on the shirt (one on the front and the other on the arm), in places unrelated to the areas pinned for the alteration. When I brought it to the tailor's attention he admitted that one of the other tailors had caused the damage due to carelessness. He tried to fix it but it only made the matter worse. He stitched the holes up like they're rags from a homeless shelter. This was a $400 shirt and now I can't wear it any more. Definitely would not recommend this place to anyone.

  I think they must be understaffed very often, since they seem to rarely answer the phone, and when they do they say they have many customers waiting and try to quickly end the phone call.

  Utterly poor for the ridiculous cost. Wish i had read the reviews here before going there. Definitely avoid looksmart alterations.

  I wasn't sure if it was possible to give 0 stars. They have a horrible dry cleaning service which they know very little about, since they deliver the clothes out (Even so, you should know something about a service you provide!). the abysmal customer service does not help them either. I have been waiting over a week to get back my dry cleaning, and at one point when I went to pick my clothes up, they were dirtier than when I left them! They did apologize and offered to clean again without charge, but it serves no purpose to be without my clothes for over a week. The weekend staff do not offer to help with obtaining my clothes either.
