  I booked in for a 1.5 hour make-up, hair up-do and eye lashes package prior to a work Xmas party. This salon was seriously overbooked and so busy the staff could barely function. To cut a long story short the makeup was ok but definitely not what I would call professional. I started to doubt the make-up "artist" when she used concealer instead of foundation all over my face. She actually used concealer as a substitute for foundation. The hair was nothing like I requested. It was messy and so bad I broke into tears when I saw it. The appointment went well over time and I did not get my eye lashes at all. I actually felt sorry for the young girl who had been tasked with my hair because she was obviously out of her depth and should not have been given the task. One of the managers re-did my hair quickly before I left and another manager (maybe the owner) tried to give me samples of shampoo and conditioner which I had to tell her repeatedly I did not want however she was too busy speaking to me condescendingly and making excuses. The most uncomfortable part was when the manager/owner saw I was upset she tried to grab my arm, this caused me to pull away and create distance between her and I because I felt like I was being man-handled. I will never return to this salon. I am a mum of 3 small kids and I was really looking forward to getting my hair and makeup done and feeling my best for a rare night out unfortunately that did not happen and I was left in tears and disappointed. The only consolation is they did not charge me for the appointment however I would have much preferred to have had a good result and paid the money.

  Asked for a haircut and hairdresser was very pushy about other products to the point where it felt embarrassing having to tell her that as a student I couldn’t afford the bells and whistles and just wanted a haircut. Even after telling her this she continued to push the extras. Terrible experience

  My daughter wanted to get her hair coloured and cut before her formal. She made an online booking for Monday 6th November at 12 and confirmed this in-store. When she arrived, she was told they had no booking, so made another booking for Thursday 9th November at 12 and again she arrived to be told there was no booking and no room. To say she is upset is an understatement. Only a day left before formal and she needs to find another saloon. Stefan's booking systems are not working or staff are deleting bookings to accommodate other clients - not sure - but not good enough - very disappointed.
