  The store is located centrally upstairs from the Queen Street Mall but it is a smaller store than other JB HI_FI stores and the layout is cramped and confusing with limited staff to help. But the prices are always keen and they always stock the latest gadgets, technology and popular music which somewhat makes up for the lack of service.

  This is one place that us over 50’s can go and get understood and good old fashioned service. The gent on the door pointed where I needed to go and called even me sir. I was then greeted by a young guy with a very groovy hair style and covered in tattoos, I immediately thought I wouldn’t understand a word he would say, but how wrong I was. He was a true gentleman and never spoke in a condescending or patronising manner and answered all my questions in a manner I could understand. Far to many companies employ young people with a very ageist attitude, but JB has obviously worked hard on this issue - congratulations JB Hi-Fi.

  Great service from both Brodie and Josh! They answered all my technical questions and helped me a great deal in making an informed choice on the right LCD to buy. Normally I avoid asking questions for fear of getting the "usual sales pitch" and no product knowledge... Not the case with these guys.

  Good selection of music and movies. Friendly staff who are mostly knowledgeable.
